Connecting Rod Bearing: Service and Repair
11 24 571 - Replacing conrod bearings (N12)Important! Modified procedure; the bearing shell colors are the same at the top and bottom.
Necessary preliminary tasks: -
Remove all pistons
Service and Repair.
Install new conrod bearing shells.
Insert conrod bearing shells (1 and 2).
Install all pistons with conrods
Service and Repair.
Assemble engine.
