Verification Tests

TEST VER-1 VERIFICATION TEST

- Reconnect and reassemble all components. NOTE: MMC vehicles use an air flow sensor. This makes it very important that all air intake hoses are in place and leak free.

- Start engine and let idle for one minute. Rev engine to 3000 RPM and let idle.

- To reset code 11 (Oxygen Sensor), or code 43 (EGR Temperature Sensor), the vehicle must be driven. Test drive the vehicle if any of these faults were previously stored.

- Read fault codes. If any codes are present, return to test DR-1A. Test DR-1A - Checking Fault Codes

- If no faults are present, but vehicle driveability is poor, perform test DR-14A, No Fault Code testing. Test DR-14A - Checking Switches - No Fault Code
