HEATER & COOLING UNIT (HEATER CORE)

Heating And Cooling Unit:

Removal
1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to "Draining Engine Coolant" (QG18DE), or "Draining Engine Coolant" (QR25DE).
2. Discharge the A/C system. Refer to "Discharging Refrigerant".
3. Disconnect the two heater hoses from inside the engine compartment.
4. Remove the instrument panel assembly and steering member assembly. Refer to "Removal and Installation".
5. Remove the heater unit.
6. Remove the heater core.

Installation
Install in the reverse order of removal.
When filling radiator with coolant, refer to "Refilling Engine Coolant" (QG18DE), or "Refilling Engine Coolant" (QR25DE).
Recharge the A/C system. Refer to "Evacuating System and Charging Refrigerant".
