4. In N Position, Vehicle MovesSYMPTOM: Vehicle moves forward or backward when selecting N position.
1. CHECK PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION (PNP) SWITCH CIRCUIT
With CONSULT-II
Does "TCM INPUT SIGNALS" in "DATA MONITOR" show damage to Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch circuit?
Without CONSULT-II
Does self-diagnosis show damage to Park/Neutral Position (PNP) with circuit?
Yes or No
Yes >> Check Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch circuit. Refer to "DTC P0705 PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH".
No >> GO TO 2.
2. CHECK CONTROL LINKAGE
Check control cable. Refer to "Control Cable".
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 4.
NG >> GO TO 3.
3. ADJUST CONTROL CABLE
Adjust control cable.
>> Refer to "Control Cable Adjustment".
4. CHECK A/T FLUID LEVEL
Check A/T fluid level again.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 5.
NG >> Refill ATF.
5. CHECK A/T FLUID CONDITION
1. Remove oil pan.
2. Check A/T fluid condition.
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 7.
NG >> GO TO 6.
6. DETECT MALFUNCTIONING ITEM
1. Disassemble A/T.
2. Check the items:
^ Forward clutch assembly
^ Overrun clutch assembly
^ Reverse clutch assembly
OK or NG
OK >> GO TO 7.
NG >> Repair or replace damaged parts.
7. CHECK SYMPTOM
Check again.
OK or NG
OK >> INSPECTION END
NG >> GO TO 8.
8. CHECK TCM INSPECTION
1. Perform TCM input/output signal inspection.
2. If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
OK or NG
OK >> INSPECTION END
NG >> Repair or replace damaged parts.
