BATTERY

Removal and Installation (QR25DE Battery)


REMOVAL






1.Loosen battery terminal nuts (A), and disconnect both negative and positive battery terminals.

CAUTION:
Disconnect the battery negative terminal first.
2.Remove battery hold-down wedge bolt (B) and battery wedge bracket.
3.Remove battery.
4.Remove battery tray liner, if necessary.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Connect the battery positive terminal first.

Battery wedge bracket bolt: 30 Nm (3.1 kg-m, 22 ft-lb)
Battery terminal nuts: 5.4 Nm (0.55 kg-m, 48 in-lb)
Reset electronic systems as necessary. Required Procedures After Battery Disconnection.
