Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Relieve fuel system pressure.
3. Remove air intake duct from throttle body.
4. Disconnect intake manifold, throttle position sensor, ISC motor, EEC solenoid and cruise control servo electrical connectors.
5. Disconnect brake booster, fuel rail and throttle body vacuum hoses.
6. Disconnect PCV hose at manifold.
7. Disconnect throttle cable at throttle body and position aside.
8. Disconnect fuel pipe quick connect fittings at fuel rail.
9. Remove EEC solenoid bracket at rear valve cover, then reposition transaxle range control cable away from cruise control servo.
10. Remove intake manifold attaching bolts, then the intake manifold and throttle body assembly.
11. Reverse procedure to install.
