Vehicle Speed Sensor Assemble

Important: Handle the speed sensor carefully.

1. Inspect the vehicle speed sensor and inspect the seal assembly for the following:
^ Damaged connector Cracked housing
^ Signs of rotor damage
^ Cuts or nicks on the seal

2. Insert a new seal (11) over the speed sensor (10).

3. Install the speed sensor (10) into the case extension.
4. Install the vehicle speed sensor bolt (9).

Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 11 Nm (98 inch lbs.).
