Removing wiper arm

WARNING

Danger of trapping and injury due to uncontrolled activation of wiper arms when fitting.

-> Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

1. Remove caps -1- and unscrew the fastening nuts -2-.

2. Push wiper arm down at the joint and pull off the wiper link.

Installing wiper arm

WARNING

Danger of trapping and injury due to uncontrolled activation of wiper arms when fitting.

-> Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

1. Position wiper arm on the wiper linkage, align it and secure in place with the fastening nuts -2-. => Tightening torque: 28 Nm (21 ftlb.)

2. Attach and press down cap -1- until it clicks into place.
3. Start wiper, check wiping area and wiper rest position, re-adjust wiper arms again if necessary.
