Assist Handle Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Open the covers (1) on the assist handle base to reveal the retaining screws (2).
2. Remove the 2 screws (2) that retain the assist handle to the roof panel.
3. Remove the assist handle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the assist handle to the headliner.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the 2 fasteners (2) in order to retain the assist handle to the roof panel.

Tighten the 2 screws to 2 Nm (18 in. lbs.).

3. Close the covers (1) on the assist handle base.
