Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LH6)

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LL8) (Cooling System Draining and Filling)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LH6) (Cooling System Draining and Filling).
2. Remove the air intake resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Using J 38185 reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) from the engine.
4. Remove the outlet hose from the engine.
5. Using J 38185 reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (2) from the radiator.
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the inlet hose to the radiator.
2. Using J 38185 reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (2) to the radiator.
3. Install the inlet hose to the engine.
4. Using J 38185 reposition the radiator inlet hose clamp (1) to the engine.
5. Install the air intake resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair).
6. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LL8) (Cooling System Draining and Filling)Cooling System Draining and Filling (LH6) (Cooling System Draining and Filling).
