Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement).
2. Remove the outside rearview mirror (ORVM) harness from the door.




3. Remove the side door insulator.




4. Remove the 3 ORVM retaining bolts.
5. Release the clip that retains the ORVM to the door.
6. Remove the ORVM assembly from the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the ORVM assembly to the door. Ensure that the retaining clip is fully seated.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the 3 ORVM retaining bolts and tighten to 10 Nm (88 in. lbs.).




3. Install the side door insulator.
4. Install the ORVM harness to the door.
5. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement).
