The fan 1 and fan 2 control outputs (circuits 335 and 473 respectively) are used by the PCM to control the speed of the cooling fans. By pulling one or both of the circuits low, the PCM can command either low, medium or high speed operation.

DTC PARAMETERS
DTC P0481 will set when the commanded state of FAN2 CONTROL does not match the feedback state and system voltage is greater than 9.5 volts.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
Using Scan tool, monitor FC 2 relay CKT open/short to GND and FC 2 relay CKT short to volts to read Yes while manipulating wiring and commanding fans On/Off.
