The PCM internally monitors ignition voltage on circuit 839.

DTC PARAMETERS
DTC P0563 will set when battery voltage at the PCM is greater than 17 volts.

IMPORTANT: The PCM monitors system voltage continuously when the engine is running. The system must fail twice per ignition cycle in order to set a DTC.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
Check charging system first.

DTC P0563 could be set with a battery charger connected and the ignition key On.
