Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister/fuel tank line. Refer to Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Canister/Fuel Tank (Service and Repair) .
3. Slide the EVAP canister upward from the bracket.



Installation Procedure





1. Slide the NEW EVAP canister down into the bracket.
2. Install the EVAP canister/fuel tank line. Refer to Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Canister/Fuel Tank (Service and Repair) .
3. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Service and Repair) .
