K41B CVT: PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. SEPARATE TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Move the shift lever to N.





(b) Remove the nut and disconnect the transmission control cable from the transmission control shaft lever.

2. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.





(b) Remove the nut, the spring washer and the transmission control shaft lever.





(c) Bend down the tabs of the nut stopper with a screwdriver and remove the lock nut and the nut stopper.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts and the park/neutral position switch.
