INTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT CONSOLE BOX: INSTALLATION

HINT
A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.

1. INSTALL REAR CONSOLE BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) for Manual Transaxle:

Install the rear console box with the 2 screws and 2 bolts.

(b) for Automatic Transaxle:

Install the rear console box with the 4 screws and 2 bolts.

(a) Attach the claw and 2 guides to install the console box insert.

HINT
* Attach the claw and guides by moving the No. 2 console box insert in the directions indicated by the arrows in the illustration.
* Follow the order shown in the illustration when attaching the claw and guides.

4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT

(a) Attach the claw and 2 guides to install the front No. 2 console box insert.

HINT
* Attach the claw and guides by moving the front No. 2 console box insert in the directions indicated by the arrows in the illustration.
* Follow the order shown in the illustration when attaching the claw and guides.

5. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX POCKET

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Attach the 5 claws and clip to install the console box pocket.

6. INSTALL UPPER REAR CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 4 clips, claw and guide to install the upper rear console panel.

7. INSTALL UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the connector.

(b) Attach the 6 claws to install the upper console panel.

8. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX

(a) W/ Seat Heater System:

Connect the connector.

(b) Attach the 6 clips and 6 guides to install the console box.

9. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the shift lever knob and twist it in the direction indicated by the arrow.
