E351 MANUAL TRANSAXLE: SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the shift lever assembly with the 4 bolts.





Torque : 12 Nm (122 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the control cable to the shift lever retainer.

NOTICE:
* The projecting part of the cable outer should face outside when the shift cable is connected.
* After installation, make sure that the cable outer lock is projecting from A as shown in the illustration.





(b) Install the control select cable to the shift lever assembly.





(c) Install the control shift cable to the shift lever assembly.

5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 CONSOLE BOX INSERT Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX INSERT Installation

7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH CENTER LOWER PANEL Installation

8. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
