Reassembly

EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REASSEMBLY; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

(a) Using an air riveter or a hand riveter, install the front bumper side retainer LH with 2 new rivets.





2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER

(a) Engage the 4 claws to install the front bumper hole cover.





4. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

6. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH

(a) Engage the 10 claws to install the fog light cover LH.





7. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH

(a) Install the front bumper hole cover LH with the 3 screws.





Torque : 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18 in-lbf)

9. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

10. INSTALL NO. 1 LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Engage the 20 claws to install the No. 1 lower radiator grille.





11. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM Installation

12. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement sub-assembly with the 8 bolts.





Torque : 32 Nm (326 kgf-cm, 24 ft-lbf)

13. INSTALL HIGH PITCHED HORN ASSEMBLY Installation

14. INSTALL RADIATOR COVER PLATE

(a) Install the radiator cover plate with the 6 clips.





15. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

(a) Install the front bumper energy absorber.





16. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER STAY BRACKET

(a) Install the front bumper stay bracket with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

17. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BUMPER COVER

(a) Install the front lower bumper cover with the 3 bolts.





Torque : 7.5 Nm (76 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf)

(b) Install the 4 clips.

18. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT PLATE LH

(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement plate LH with the 2 clips.





19. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT PLATE RH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

20. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

(a) Engage the 2 claws.





(b) Install the No. 2 front bumper side support LH with the screw.





Torque : 2.0 Nm (20 kgf-cm, 18 in-lbf)

21. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

22. INSTALL HOOD TO FRONT END PANEL SEAL

(a) Install the hood to front end panel seal with the 13 clips to the front bumper upper retainer.
