HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: COMPRESSOR: REMOVAL; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM

Service and Repair

2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE GENERATOR COVER Removal

4. REMOVE BELT GENERATOR COVER Removal

5. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT Removal

6. DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly from the compressor with magnet clutch.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

7. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the compressor with magnet clutch.





(b) Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

NOTICE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

8. REMOVE COMPRESSOR WITH MAGNET CLUTCH

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the 3 bolts and the compressor with magnet clutch.
