Removal

FA20 ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL; 2013 MY FR-S [03/2012 -]

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL Removal

2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE Removal

4. REMOVE THROTTLE WITH MOTOR BODY ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the throttle with motor body assembly connector.





(b) Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses from the throttle with motor body assembly.





(c) Remove the 4 bolts and the throttle with motor body assembly from the intake manifold.





(d) Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
