Select Cable Components

Removal

1) Disconnect negative cable from battery.
2) Remove air cleaner assembly. Air Cleaner Assembly Removal and Installation
3) Remove console box. [1][2]Console
4) Disconnect select cable from selector lever and then detach from bracket. Select Lever Assembly Removal and Installation
5) Remove clip of select cable and disconnect select cable from manual select lever.
6) Remove select cable retainer from dash panel.

Installation

Select Cable Adjustment

Reverse removal procedure noting the following.

- Apply grease to pin and cable joint. Select Cable Components
- Tighten bolts to specified torque. Select Cable Components
- Adjust selector cable. Procedures
