HINT: Initial condition that the customizing function by TOYOTA hand-held tester is not chosen is shown.
2. POWER WINDOW FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION
a. When an abnormality is detected in the limit switch and pulse sensor for operating the jam protection function (DTC: B1231/31, B1232/32), the following power window operations will be prohibited for fail safe.
HINT: In case of normal limit switch, prohibition (fail-safe function) will be cancelled by fully opening the door glass of fully-closed by manual operation then AUTO operation will be possible.
3. CHECK TOYOTA HAND-HELD TESTER
a. ECU Data Monitor:
Using a TOYOTA hand-held tester, make a judgement of good or bad and find out a malfunctioning part by the ECU data monitor.
HINT: "CAUTION" is indicated when something caught in the window is detected.
b. Active Test:
Using a TOYOTA hand-held tester, make a judgement of good or bad and find out a malfunctioning part by the active test.
