DTC C1244 Open or short circuit in deceleration sensor circuit

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

DTC Detection Condition:

This sensor detects deceleration of the vehicle. The sensor signal is used in ABS control. If the sensor functions abnormally, the ABS warning light comes on.

Fail safe function:
If trouble occurs in the deceleration sensor circuit, the ECU cuts off the current to the ABS solenoid relay and prohibits ABS controls and then the brake system becomes normal.
