DTC B1650/32 Occupant Classification System MalfunctionDESCRIPTION
Detection Condition:
The occupant classification system circuit consists of the center airbag sensor and the occupant classification system.
If the center airbag sensor receives signals from the occupant classification ECU, it determines whether the front passenger airbag, the front seat side airbag RH and front seat outer belt should be operated. DTC B1650/32 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the occupant classification system circuit.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE:
- When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal while performing repairs, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
- After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
