Removal








3UR-FE COOLING: RADIATOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL

2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

4. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL COOLER AIR DUCT (w/ Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler)






(a) Remove the 4 bolts and oil cooler air duct.
5. DISCONNECT RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH (w/o Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler)






(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips and disconnect the side deflector.
6. DISCONNECT RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH






(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 4 clips and disconnect the side deflector.
7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SPLASH SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

9. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

10. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

11. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

12. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
14. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE
15. REMOVE FAN SHROUD






(a) Loosen the 4 nuts holding the fluid coupling fan.
(b) Remove the fan and generator V-belt Removal.






(c) Disconnect the reservoir hose from the upper radiator tank.
(d) w/ Air Cooled Transmission Oil Cooler:
Detach the claw to open the flexible hose clamp.
(e) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the oil cooler tube from the fan shroud.
(f) Remove the 2 bolts holding the fan shroud.
(g) Remove the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling fan, and then remove the shroud together with the coupling fan.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the radiator core.

(h) Remove the fan pulley.
16. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY






(a) Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses.






(b) Remove the 4 bolts and radiator.
