Removal

WIPER / WASHER: WASHER MOTOR (for Front Side): REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

(a) except X-Runner:

Remove the front bumper cover Removal.

(b) for X-Runner:

Remove the front bumper cover

3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH

(a) Remove the front fender liner Removal.

4. DRAIN WASHER FLUID

(a) Disconnect the washer hose from the hose of the windshield washer motor and pump assembly and drain the washer fluid.





5. REMOVE WASHER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Detach the clip and remove the washer inlet sub-assembly.





6. REMOVE WASHER JAR

(a) Disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the 3 screws.





(c) Detach the guide and remove the washer jar.





7. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the washer motor and pump from the packing of the washer jar.
