Removal

3MZ-FE EXHAUST: EXHAUST PIPE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal

2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER Removal

3. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1) Removal

4. REMOVE OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2) Removal

5. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.





(b) Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the exhaust pipe support.

(c) Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly.

6. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.





(b) Remove the center exhaust pipe from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

(c) Remove the gasket from the front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly.

(d) Remove the 2 bolts and exhaust pipe damper.





7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 3 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, front No. 3 exhaust pipe sub-assembly, and the 2 gaskets.





8. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 nuts, front exhaust pipe assembly and gasket.
