Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

STEERING COLUMN: STEERING LOCK SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the tester on.

(d) Enter the following menus:

(1) Select: Body Electrical / Smart Access / Trouble Codes /

(e) Read the DTCs.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the tester on.

(d) Enter the following menus:

(1) Select: Body Electrical / Smart Access / Trouble Codes /

(e) Erase the DTCs.
