Removal





REAR SUSPENSION: REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDER: REMOVAL

NOTICE:
* Do not extend the pneumatic cylinder during or after removal.
* Do not put air in the pneumatic cylinder when it is removed from the vehicle.
* Do not remove the pneumatic cylinder from the vehicle without releasing the air first.
* When the pneumatic cylinder is fitted on the vehicle, do not remove the absorber. Doing so will cause the No. 2 lower arm to move beyond its normal stroke in the rebound direction.
* Do not remove the bolt from the bottom of the pneumatic cylinder if the pneumatic cylinder is not filled with air.
* When performing this procedure, support the vehicle frame and maintain the No. 2 lower arm height at a position lower than the normal vehicle height.
1. REMOVE REAR PNEUMATIC CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Insert a piece of wood between the jack and the No. 2 lower arm, and raise the No. 2 lower arm.





(b) Remove the bolt.





(c) Remove the clip on the upper side of the rear pneumatic cylinder.





(d) Disconnect the height control tube Suspension Control System.

(e) Gently lower the jack and remove the rear pneumatic cylinder.
