Removal

HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH Removal

3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH Removal

4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal

5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL Removal

7. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIR BAG ASSEMBLY Removal

8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY RH Removal

9. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and amplifier.
