1. DATA LIST

HINT
By referring to the Data List displayed on the Techstream, you can read the value and status of parts such as switches, sensors and actuators without removing any parts. Reading the Data List as the first step of troubleshooting is one method of shortening diagnostic time.

(a) Warm up the engine.

(b) Turn the ignition switch off.

(c) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(e) Turn the Techstream on.

(f) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Data List.

(g) According to the display on the tester, read the Data List.









2. ACTIVE TEST

HINT
Performing the Active Test using Techstream allows the relay, actuator and so on to operate without parts removal. Performing the Active Test as the first step of troubleshooting is one of the methods to shorten labor time.

It is possible to display the Data List during the Active Test.

(a) Warm up the engine.

(b) Turn the ignition switch off.

(c) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(d) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(e) Turn the Techstream on.

(f) Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TARC / Active Test.

(g) According to the display on the tester, perform the Active Test.

Ignition switch must be turned to ON to proceed to the Active Test using Techstream.
