Programming and Relearning





DIFFERENTIAL: ACTIVE TORQUE CONTROL 4WD SYSTEM: CALIBRATION

1. DESCRIPTION

(a) When the 4WD control ECU is replaced with a normal one from another vehicle, or the yaw rate sensor is replaced, perform calibration.

(b) Follow the chart to perform calibration.





HINT
* When the 4WD control ECU is replaced with a new one, calibration is unnecessary.
* Calibrate the 4WD control ECU by performing calibration of the vehicle stability control system.

2. PERFORM CALIBRATION (When Using Techstream)

(a) Clear the zero point calibration data.

(1) Turn the ignition switch off.

(2) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(3) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(4) Turn the Techstream on.

(5) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Utility / Reset Memory.

(6) Operate the Techstream to clear the data.

NOTICE:
When the yaw rate sensor is replaced, be sure to also perform vehicle stability control system calibration Programming and Relearning.

3. PERFORM CALIBRATION (When not Using Techstream)

(a) Calibrate the 4WD control ECU by performing vehicle stability control system calibration.
