Installation
EXTERIOR: FRONT BUMPER: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the front bumper extension with the 3 nuts.
Torque : 58 Nm (590 kgf-cm, 43 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 nuts.
Torque : 58 Nm (590 kgf-cm, 43 ft-lbf)
4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ARM MOUNTING BRACKET LH
(a) Install the front bumper arm mounting bracket with the 2 bolts.
Torque : 4.0 Nm (41 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf)
5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ARM MOUNTING BRACKET RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER UPPER SIDE RETAINER
HINT
Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.
(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper upper side retainer.
7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION LH
(a) Install the front bumper reinforcement extension with the 2 nuts.
Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION RH
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
9. INSTALL BUMPER FILLER RETAINER
HINT
Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.
(a) Install the bumper filler retainer with the screw.
10. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER UPPER CENTER RETAINER
(a) Install the front bumper upper center retainer with the 4 nuts.
Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT
HINT
Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.
(a) Engage the claw and install the front bumper side support.
(b) Tighten the screw.
14. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH
(a) Engage the claw and the 2 guides, install the fog light cover.
(b) Install the retainer.
15. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
16. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Fog Light)
(a) Engage the 2 guides and install the fog light assembly.
(b) Tighten the 2 screws.
17. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Fog Light)
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
18. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)
(a) Engage the 2 guides and install the front bumper hole cover.
(b) Tighten the 2 screws.
19. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
20. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)
(a) Engage the 13 claws and install the lower radiator grille.
(b) Install the 5 retainers.
21. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE (for X-Runner)
(a) Engage the 12 claws and install the lower radiator grille.
(b) Install the 5 retainers.
22. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)
(a) Install the front bumper extension with the 7 retainers.
23. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION RH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
24. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION LH (for X-Runner)
(a) Install the front bumper extension with the 5 retainers.
25. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION RH (for X-Runner)
HINT
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
26. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER LH (for X-Runner)
(a) Install the front spoiler cover with the 6 retainers.
(b) Install the 3 clips and the retainer.
27. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER RH (for X-Runner)
(a) Install the front spoiler cover with the 6 retainers.
(b) Install the 2 clips and the retainer.
28. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER
(a) Install the 4 clips.
(b) Engage the 2 claws and install the front bumper cover.
(c) Connect the 2 fog light connectors.
HINT
If the vehicle is equipped with fog lights, connect the connector.
(d) Install the 2 bolts and the 4 screws.
(e) Install the 3 clips.
(f) Install the pin hold clip.

NOTICE:
Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically. Do not rotate the clip after inserting it. After installation, confirm that the slot is vertical.

29. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER FILLER LH
(a) Engage the clip and guide, install the front bumper filler.
30. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER FILLER RH

31. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE
(a) Engage the 8 guides and install the radiator grille.
(b) Install the 2 clips.
(c) Tighten the 2 screws.
