INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When replacing the skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid), perform calibration Vehicle Stability Control System (for Hydraulic Brake Booster).
* Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT

(a) Disconnect the skid control ECU skid control ECU (master cylinder solenoid) connector.

(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(c) Check that the Slip Indicator light comes on.

OK:

Slip Indicator light comes on.

NG -- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE

OK -- REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID Disassembly

2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION LINE Slip Indicator Light Remains ON

NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING) How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (Indicate Lamp Slip) Slip Indicator Light Remains ON

NG -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM (HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING) How To Proceed With Troubleshooting

OK -- REPLACE MASTER CYLINDER SOLENOID Disassembly
