Installation

1GR-FE STARTING: STARTER (for 2WD and Pre-Runner): INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

(b) Install the wire harness with the nut to terminal 30.

Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect terminal 50 to the starter assembly.

2. INSTALL WIRE HARNESS

(a) Install the earth wire harness onto the cylinder block with the bolt.

Torque : 13 Nm (133 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL NO.2 MANIFOLD STAY

(a) Install the manifold stay No. 2 with the 3 bolts.

Torque : 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf)

4. INSTALL NO.1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Off Road Package)

(a) Install the engine under cover with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf)

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)
