DESCRIPTION

* If the rear RH side manual UP/DOWN function does not operate, there may be a malfunction in the rear switch RH, the rear motor RH, the master switch, or the harness or connector.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH RH - BATTERY)

(a) Disconnect the O5 switch connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the rear switch RH Removal (from 08/2011).





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH Removal (from 08/2011)
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH RH - REAR MOTOR RH)

(a) Disconnect the O5 switch connector.





(b) Disconnect the O3 motor connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the rear motor RH Removal (from 08/2011).





(b) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

(c) Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

OK:





NG -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH Removal (from 08/2011)
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - REAR SWITCH RH)

(a) Disconnect the N2 master switch connector.





(b) Disconnect the O5 switch connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal (from 08/2011)
