SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Seatback Board): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Front Seat Side Airbag)
CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system Service Precautions.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY RH
3. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER RH
(a) Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.





(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the outer seat track cover RH.
4. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for 2WD)





(a) Disengage the claw.
(b) Disengage the guide and remove the inner seat track cover RH.
5. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK COVER RH (for 4WD)





(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the inner seat track cover RH.
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Remove the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.
(b) Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.





(c) Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.
(d) Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the center position. Also, operate the reclining adjuster release handle and move the seatback to the upright position.
(e) Disconnect the connectors under the front seat assembly.
(f) Remove the front seat assembly RH.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
