DESCRIPTION

The back-up power source circuit for the A/C amplifier is shown below. Power used for DTC memory etc. is supplied even when the ignition switch is turned off.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (ECU-B2)
(a) Remove the ECU-B2 fuse from the engine room relay block and junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:






NG -- REPLACE FUSE (ECU-B2)
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER - BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the A/C amplifier connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
