MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION: LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

NOTICE:
* When using the Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot: Connect the Techstream to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the Techstream and vehicle begins.
* Refer to the Techstream operator's manual for further details.
1. CHECK DTC

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

(d) Turn the Techstream on.

(e) Read the DTCs by following the directions on the Techstream screen.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).

(d) Turn the Techstream on.

(e) Erase the DTCs by following the directions on the Techstream screen.
