Removal





AXLE AND DIFFERENTIAL: DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT CUSHION: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER

HINT
Refer to the instructions for removal of the rear suspension member Removal.

2. REMOVE NO. 6 EXHAUST PIPE SUPPORT BRACKET Removal

3. REMOVE DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY WITH DIFFERENTIAL SUPPORT

(a) Remove the 2 rear mounting bolts.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and rear differential with differential support.





HINT
The nuts have tabs to prevent them from rotating.

4. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL MOUNT CUSHION

(a) Using SST, remove the rear No. 1 differential mount cushion.





SST : 09570-24011

SST : 09316-12010

NOTICE:
* Do not bring SST into contact with the sub-frame.
* Do not slant the SST bolts.
* Do not set SST in the wrong direction.
* Tighten the 2 SST bolts equally into the 2 rear No. 1 differential mount cushion holes.
