DOOR LOCK: FRONT DOOR LOCK: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side)

(a) Apply battery voltage to the motor terminals and check the operation of the door lock motor.





OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.

2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Apply battery voltage to the motor terminals and check the operation of the door lock motor.





OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock assembly.
