Outer Rear View Mirror





MIRROR (EXT): OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Inspect outer mirror motor operation.





(1) Disconnect the mirror connector.

(2) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the mirror.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.

(b) Inspect outer mirror heater operation. (with Mirror Heater)





(1) Apply battery voltage and check operation of the mirror face, as shown in the table below.

OK:

If the result is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.

2. INSPECT OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the mirror connector.





(b) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the mirror.

OK:





If the result is not as specified, replace the mirror assembly.

(c) Inspect outer mirror heater operation. (with Mirror Heater)





(1) Apply battery voltage and check operation of the mirror face, as shown in the table below.
