Installation





2ZR-FE COOLING: THERMOSTAT: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL THERMOSTAT

(a) Install a new gasket on the thermostat.

(b) Install the thermostat to the water inlet with the jiggle valve upward.





HINT
The jiggle valve may be set to within 10° on either side of the indicated position.

2. INSTALL WATER INLET

(a) Install the water inlet with the 2 nuts.





Torque : 10 Nm (102 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)

3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

4. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK Testing and Inspection
