Removal

2ZR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

2. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE

(a) Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector and the 2 wire harness clamps.





(b) Disconnect the ventilation hose and loosen the hose clamp.





(c) Release the 2 clamps and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose.





4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the throttle body connector and the 2 water by-pass hoses.





(b) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts, and remove the throttle body assembly.





(c) Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
