B2343 - Position Initialization Incomplete

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) has not been initialized.

Refer to DTC B2341 B2341.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
* When DTC B2342 and B2343 are output simultaneously, perform troubleshooting for DTC B2342 first.
* When the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) is replaced or removed and reinstalled, it requires initialization Initialization.

PROCEDURE

1. INITIALIZE ROOF SUNSHADE ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY)

(a) Check that the roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) can be initialized Initialization.

OK:

Roof sunshade ECU (sliding roof drive gear assembly) can be initialized.

NG -- REPLACE ROOF SUNSHADE ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY) Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK ROOF SUNSHADE OPERATION

(a) Check the roof sunshade auto operation Operation Check.

OK:

Auto operation operates normally.

NG -- REPLACE ROOF SUNSHADE ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY) Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK DTC OUTPUT

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

(b) Recheck for DTCs.

OK:

DTC B2343 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE ROOF SUNSHADE ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR ASSEMBLY) Removal

OK -- END
