Disassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

2. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Remove the screw and vertical adjusting handle.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) w/o Lumbar Support:

(1) Disengage the 6 claws and clip, and remove the front seat cushion shield.

(c) w/ Lumbar Support:

(1) Disengage the 6 claws and clip.

(2) Disconnect the connector.

(3) Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the front seat cushion shield.

4. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Lumbar Support) Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) Removal

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) Removal

7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disconnect the rubber band.

(b) Disengage the fastener and separate the airbag wire harness.

(e) for 6 Way Seat Type:

(1) Disengage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

(f) for 4 Way Seat Type:

(1) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(g) Disengage each hook and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 2 hog rings.

(b) Remove the 15 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disengage the claw and 4 clamps to disconnect the airbag wire harness.

(b) Remove the 5 hog rings.

(d) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

(e) Turn back the separate type front seatback cover and remove the 2 nuts, and remove the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.

(f) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the seat frame.

11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Remove the 5 hog rings.

(b) Remove the 2 hog rings and disconnect the fastening rubber from the separate type front seatback pad.

(c) Remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the screw.

(c) Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

(b) Remove the screw.

(c) Disengage the clip and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

17. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 2 front seat cushion protector.

18. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the No. 1 front seat cushion protector.

19. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR Removal

20. REMOVE OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Removal

21. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)

(a) Disengage the 4 clamps.

(b) Disconnect the connector.

(c) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the No. 2 seat wire with front seat wire.

(d) Disconnect the connector to remove the No. 2 seat wire from the front seat wire.

22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors.

(b) Disengage the 7 clamps and remove the front seat wire RH.

23. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts and separate type front seatback spring assembly from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

24. REMOVE SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

(a) Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the seat track adjusting handle from the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.
