2. REMOVE IGNITION OR STARTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
NOTICE:
* Perform the operation after situating the upper steering column bracket assembly in such a way that the ignition or starter switch assembly faces upward, as shown in the illustration.
* Do not turn the upper steering column bracket assembly sideways or downward because doing so might release the upper steering column bracket assembly's component parts.

(a) Disconnect the connector.
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the ignition or starter switch assembly.
