Front Bumper: Service and Repair



FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY





1 - Guide

2 - Sealing washer

3 - Bumper

4 - Screw w/washer 23 Nm (17 ft lb)

5 - Bracket

6 - 82 Nm (60.5 ft lb)

7 - Seal
• mounted on bumper cover

8 - Spreading clip
• connects bumper cover and wheel house liner

9 - Bumper cover
• removing bumper cover pull evenly on both sides and straight out of guides away from body.

10 - Air intake grill

11 - Spoiler
• clipped onto bumper cover

Front Bumper, Removing/Installing

WARNING DO NOT drive vehicle without the front bumper and brackets installed. Subframe is NOT properly secured with bumper removed.

Removing





- Remove screws -1- securing air intake grill.

- Using screwdriver push down tabs A, B:
• tab A from reverse side

- Swing air intake grill down and out.

- Remove spreader clips on both sides.

- Disconnect wiring to fog, lights, if applicable.





- Remove bolts (arrows)
• 82 Nm (60.5 ft lb)

- Pull bumper assembly forward (driving direction) out of guides.

Installing

- Reinstall all components in reverse order of removal.
