Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor

Removing

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Disconnect connectors - 1 and 2 -.





- Press out the clip - 3 - for the wire guide.

- Press out the wire clip at the top front bolt.

- Disconnect pressure tube - 1 - and intake tube - 2 -. To do so, compress the securing ring.





- Remove the nuts and remove the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor (V101) upward. When doing this, press the lower bolt (rubber bushing) slightly in order to get by at the transmission.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:

• Make sure that pressure tube and intake tube lock securely to AIR pump motor.
