Wiper Blade, Replacing

• Refer to the Joint-Free Wiper Blade Characteristics chapter in the => Electrical Equipment.

- Remove the joint-free wiper blade. Refer to => [ Wiper Blade ] Wiper Blade.

- Check on which side the wiper blade cannot be moved in guide.

- Carefully pry off cap - 1 - on side where wiper blade cannot be moved in guide.






- Bend open wiper blade locking mechanism - A - using suitable screwdriver.






- Replace wiper blade.

• Check wiper blade for proper seating in wiper blade guides.

- Using a suitable screwdriver, push wiper blade locking mechanism - A - down again until wiper blade can no longer be moved in guide.






- Attach new cap - 1 - and check for proper seating.






- Install the joint-free wiper blade. Refer to => [ Wiper Blade ] Wiper Blade.

- Check wiper blade for proper function.
